This toy comes with a microphone, tambourine, and a drum set for Elmo, and your children to play with. There are also other instruments that you can purchase separately that this Elmo is compatible with. Easy to turn on, Elmo lights up the room with music and joy. Your child can decide which instrument they want Elmo to play each time. Simply place it in front of him, and he'll be able to decide what instrument it is, and how to play it. The toy encourages children to grab an instrument of their own, and play along. It's a fun time, your child will love participating in.
Elmo can sing six different songs. Each of them has their own theme, and can even teach your child new things. Not necessarily a learning toy though, it's geared more towards music and fun. Elmo is safe for all children, and sturdily built. You won't have to worry about it breaking when your child decides they want to move him around. Be warned though, this isn't a soft, cuddly version of the Elmo. It is more heavier as a result of the mechanical features built inside of it. It's meant to be more of a stationary toy, rather then one that should be carried everywhere.
Like previously mentioned, Elmo comes with the standard tambourine, and drums as detachable accessories. You can also purchase a guitar, keyboard, or an extra microphone for your child to use as well. This Elmo requires six AA batteries that are included. You won't have to worry about replacing them too often either. They seem to last fairly well with this toy.

All in all, the Let's Rock Elmo is another great addition to the Elmo family. With all the music, and instruments being played, this Elmo toy really does rock. They're aren't very many complaints associated with this toy, and it seems to impress the younger audience. A top toy for 2011, this Elmo would make an excellent choice for Christmas this year. Suitable for a wide age range, you're sure to find the right recipient for this toy.
